Help Us Restore George Washington’s 1789 Post-Inauguration Suit
In 1789, George Washington donned a distinctive three-piece suit for the post-inaugural events immediately following his historic swearing-in as the first President of the United States. This emblematic attire is an enduring symbol of Washington’s commitment to the American dream and its principles. More than two centuries later, this treasured relic is showing signs of its age.
